This Thanksgiving we would like to pause to reflect on what we're thankful for.
First and foremost I would like to say that I am thankful that God saw fit to keep me on this planet long enough to repent and accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior so I would not have to stand before God one day and hear Him say: "depart from me". Every breath we take is one more chance to repent, once we leave this planet it is too late - there is no Purgatory - our fate will be sealed.
You're probably thinking: "this is a Happy Thanksgiving post? Doesn't sound very happy to me." It is *far* better to be presented with a tough truth and be uncomfortable or offended while you are still walking this Earth and can do something about it, than it be too late and "weep and gnash teeth" for all eternity. If you have not already, take Jesus up on His gift to you and this will be the happiest Thanksgiving of your entire life.
This video is not specifically about Thanksgiving, but it contains the basis of a *truly* thankful and happy person.
I am also thankful for my lovely and loving wife who has propped me up through many of life's challenges. My kids who genuinely deep down want to do what is right and pursue their passions. My mom who is a wonderful and sweet lady. Members of my family who have gone on who have influenced me and modeled for me much of who I am today.My prayer is that God will lead this country back on it's knees before Him, because we as a nation have turned away from God. What we as a country do as far as our economy or national defense will not matter one tiny iota if God is against us.
Enjoy your families and enjoy the food you will eat today and remember most where these things came from.
